How does this affect Diamond Studio? It means we investigate our gold suppliers' mining, refining, and manufacturing practices and collaborate with them to positively affect how gold is supplied. We are dedicated to growing the use of recycled gold and secondary sources in our company, and we continuously measure and set visible milestones with the purpose of achieving this goal.
Production and Recyclability
We are continuing to look for ways to improve how our operations impact our environment. Currently, all the packaging, corrugated waste and processed water we use in manufacturing is recycled. We also separate water from solid waste which is then processed by both a local recycling facility and precious metal refinery. Products that are returned to us are disassembled–their metal and gem components are sent to our partners to be recycled.
Packaging and Shipping
Our packaging is produced from 100% recyclable materials sourced sustainably. Our chipboard and wrapping paper are 100%recyclable, and our packaging is made with eco-friendly, non-toxic glue and cushioning foam. Our plastic molds are composed of recycle depoly propylene plastic. We are always working to improve our package sizes and delivery methods for the benefit of our consumers and the environment
Committed To Reducing Energy Consumption
We are making an effort to use less energy in our regular operations. To effectively manage our energy use, we installed a centralised HVAC controls system. In addition, we have changed our production plant to be totally illuminated by LEDs.
